Take a break.. Have a cupcake!
Todays blog post is to tell you to please take a break. If you are tired or things are getting sticky (aka very very frustrating and you can't handle it anymore) STOP pushing! Stop and go have a power nap, take a break, bake some cupcakes do something different then when you're finish go back to the thing you were trying to do. I guarantee you will be able to get it done 100 times quicker than before.
Trying to push through when you're quickly loosing your patience or running out of energy is just not worth it!
So, if you are looking for a sign or validation to take a break this is it. Be kind, take a break.
Some great "take a break" ideas:
- Bake a cake or cupcakes (shameless promotion/ wink wink - see below)
- Go for a walk
- Learn a tiktok or youtube dance this is my favourite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DZktowZo_k
- Read a book for 20 minutes
- Have a 10-15 minute nap - make sure you set an alarm
- Draw a picture
- Journal - may favourite Journal prompt is: What if everything goes exactly how you dream? What would your life be like?
