Are You O'caKe? The Event! (18th June 2023)

I had such an amazing afternoon at the are you o cake event. The event itself was priceless… Lauren did such a beautiful job. From the cake decorating, to having open conversations about mental health; it truely was the best event I’ve been to. I wish there was one every week !

We did a Floss cupcake decorating party for my daughter’s 7th Birthday and it couldn’t have been any better. It was a hit with both the girls and boys (even the adults were eager to get involved). Floss came with all the goods and kept the children entertained and busy. Completely stress free for parents!
Highly recommend and will definitely be doing another Floss party in the future. Would be fun for older children/teens too 😃
We also bought a Floss kit to make the birthday cake. It was super easy and so lovely that my daughter was able to help make and decorate her own cake.

We had a fantasic experience with Lauren and our team. To hear the beginnings of Floss and her inssights really struck a chord. We managed to decorate and distribute several dozen amazing creations amoungst our wider team. Highly Recommended.

I love my seater. It’s comfy and fluffy inside. It’s so cool when you see the secret message in the mirror…you matter 💞

Made my floss kit the other night, and we are trying so hard not to eat all the cuppies at once! Honestly so delish, and the decorations are super cute!

It was such a lovely day with some enlightening ideas and inspiring real talk. The conversations of certain topics that are such common occurrences in life made it all relatable. There was a real sense of community with the guest speakers. And the cupcake decorating really added that fun engaging element of the day.

I have ordered twice now, three cakes totalled and I love these kits. I have brought them to make with younger family members or a bit of fun myself. My younger siblings loveeeeeddd this so much and are asking to do this again. Easy, fun, delicious and helps bring out the creative side in anyone. Can not recommend enough!

This was such a wonderful experience and I had the best time decorating cupcakes! It was really inspiring listening to all the speakers and the discussions about mental health were open, honest and raw. The combination of cake decorating and mental health chats is such a fab idea and really allows you to get real with others without the pressure of sitting down and talking face to face. Highly recommend!

I attended the Are you OcaKe event and enjoyed every minute. Lauren struck the perfect balance between a fun learning, sweet-filled cake and cupcake decorating session, and a more serious and educational/valuable mental health discussion. The guest speaker Georgie told such a relatable story, and I picked up lots of tools to help with anxiety and other mental health struggles. I felt supported and safe, part of a group of likeminded people, opening up important conversations. The floss kits are an amazing (and yummy) fun activity too!

What an amazing event, decorating cupcakes and talking what more could one want! Cant wait for the next one!

We bought a sophisti - cake for a 50th celebration at our camp site in Northland. Had to transport the cake in coolly bags packed with cold pads. There is no power or fridge at the camp site. The cake stayed amazingly fresh overnight. The raspberry in the middle was fantastic. I got so many comments about how fabulous the cake was, and how it was the best they had ever tasted. Highly recommend this. Lauren even made us this cake during her Christmas holiday time which was greatly appreciated. It's definitely the best cake ever.
